Dr Jamie Barwick

Jamie Barwick is an Associate Lecturer in Precision Agriculture within the School of Environmental and Rural Science at the University of New England (UNE).
His research interests focus on spatio-temporal variability in agricultural systems and the development and application of animal sensors along with management techniques, enabling producers to increase production and efficiency. Jamie has extensive experience with data processing and analysis using various software platforms including ArcGIS, R and Oracle.
Jamie’s teaching is centered on developing graduates ready for industry. Through the development of industry integrated teaching approaches, resulting in engaged student learning, his undergraduates students are keenly sought after both within the research and commercial sectors.
